Classes
At White Cloud Martial Arts Academy we are currently offering the following classes:

All classes are £7 per person. There is no need to book in advance, just try to arrive 10 minutes before the class starts for registration & enrolment. Wear comfortable sportswear.
Adults Kung Fu
The class rotates between Wing Chun kung fu and Chinese Boxing, both are perfect starting points for people with little or no experience.
The class will improve fitness, boost confidence and teach you some new skills
Friday 7:30 - 9:00
Junior Kung Fu
A class for 7 - 13 year olds. Students start by learning the blocks, kicks & punches of Chinese Boxing but will also learn, Self Defence, Break Falls, Wing Chun and eventually some of the traditional Chinese weapons.

Beginners Tai Chi
The ancient art of Tai Chi is perfect for older practitioners who perhaps haven't exercised much recently. The gentle movements and deep breathing are designed to stimulate a person's internal energy and can help with mobility, sore joints and leave students feeling more energised.

The White Cloud Martial Arts Academy is the original school founded in 1962 by Master Derek Gordon, passed directly to his highest ranked student Master Dave Cowell in 1994 and now training exclusively at St Bede's RC Sports College. Over the years many instructors have been trained at the White Cloud Academy and several now run successful schools of their own. However, although these instructors are White Cloud trained they are not recognised by the Academy and as such neither are any of their students.
